I'm a SocialFish

Saturday, August 16, 2008

I'm thrilled to announce that Maddie Grant and I have launched our own company, SocialFish, LLC. SocialFish helps associations make the most out of social media. We bridge the gap between technology and implementation. That's fancy talk for "we'll show you how to make your shiny new tools work for your audience."

Why are we doing it? Because "if you build it, they will come" only works in the movies. Because we live and breathe social media every day, and we believe that associations should, too. Because we have answers for the questions that keep popping up...Where do we start? Is it time to re-evaluate? Why is our social media initiative underperforming? Because the association community needs this.

There you have it. A new company for a new way of interacting with your members and your industry. And check out my fancy new title. Chief Social Media Marketer. Pretty cool, right?

Elizabeth,
We're totally excited to have you guys as fans. We've been building bridges with so many great technology providers who all understand that the shiny new tool is just the beginning. NFi definitely gets it...and we appreciate you for it!

We're going to need the entire association tech community working together to reach our goal of making social media work for associations. Who's on board!
